Keeping track of inventory can be a real headache. Do you have the following issues:

  1. Wasting time looking for items
  2. Holding extra inventory as a safety against inaccurate numbers
  3. Avoiding orders for older items because you're not sure you still have what your system says you do
  4. Expediting reorders because you suddenly can't find any more of the product.
Well if you do suffer from any of the above issues, it may be time for some changes. You will have to rethink how you manage your inventory. You may need to see if there is technology that can help you move forward. You are in luck today because I will be writing about a inventory management system called HandiFox. Their website can be found at (wow, that is easy to remember). HandiFox appears to be owned by Tecom Group, Inc. which is a provider of systems, engineering and software solutions for a wide variety of customers.

Here is HandiFox's claim to fame as found on their website:

"HandiFox™ is a leading inventory control and sales management solution that allows small and medium businesses to automate their sales, manage the supply chain pipeline and do sales in the field on mobile devices."

Here are HandiFox's own reasons to give them a try:
  1. HandiFox™ has put inventory control functions in a handheld device, with the speed and accuracy of barcodes
  2. HandiFox™ is a no brainer! It does not require any special training.
  3. Price wise, HandiFox™ is way down below its competitors.
  4. Proactive service and prompt issue resolution. Highest ratings in reviews.
Sounds good with bold claims but you're still not willing to commit.....

  • Sporting Goods
  • Food and Beverage
  • Agriculture Supply
  • Medical and Healthcare

  • Electronics Distribution
Don't see your industrial then call HandiFox and discuss your needs!

As always, my posts are not meant to do your homework for you. You got to go out and do your own research (unless you pay me to do it). I'm not personally recommending HandiFox but it looks like it is worth investigating. My goal is to simply highlight companies that can help you move forward. Just don't be satisfy if your method of controlling inventory is not great. Look for solutions to your inventory problems. I can guarantee you that the answer is out there. Take advantage of technology before it takes advantage of you.
